After-School Teacher (Full-Time)

Primrose School of Fort Mill is seeking a dedicated and dependable After-School Teacher to teach our Explorers class. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic early childhood environment and is passionate about supporting young learners throughout the day.
This role includes assisting across multiple classrooms as needed and leading our after-school program for school-aged children.
Schedule
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support throughout the school day, stepping into toddler, preschool, or pre-kindergarten classrooms as needed.
- Build nurturing relationships with children and support their social-emotional and cognitive development.
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for the after-school program (3:00–6:00 PM).
- Ensure a safe, structured environment that promotes positive behavior, cooperation, and fun.
- Provide supervision during transitions, outdoor play, snack time, and end-of-day routines.
- Maintain open communication with families and collaborate effectively with teaching teams and leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field strongly preferred.
- Minimum 6 months experience in a licensed child care center or preschool setting.
- Strong classroom management and multitasking skills.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to school-wide support.
